ACS Hosts First Ever Technology Showcase

On Tuesday 21st October,  ACS held its first ever Technology Showcase. The event exhibited a selection of the very best innovations in technology available to convenience store retailers to help improve and benefit their business.

 

Six shortlisted companies unveiled their innovative technology solutions and products to a room of over 50 retailers. The first to present on the day was StreetAD – a brand new digital screen solution for convenience stores. Axis Communications explained their digital video recording and data management systems. The systems offer customer counting; movement tracking within the store; demographic facial recognition with EPOS integration and car park management – find out more at http://www.axis.com/

 

Camelot showcased their customer and retailer facing scratchcard terminal. The terminal increases impulse purchases of National Lottery scratchcards with one-third of shoppers claiming that the availability of scratchcards encourages them to visit the store again – find out more at http://www.prospect.lotteryretailer.co.uk/

 

An app combining loyalty and marketing was unveiled by Cornershop Online.
