Just Over A Week Left Until E10 Fuel Grade Rollout

There’s just over a week to go until the rollout of the E10 fuel grade, which is being introduced part of the Government’s Transportation Decarbonisation Plan.

From 1st September 2021, E10 petrol will be introduced as the UK-wide standard petrol grade at pumps. ACS is reminding all fuel retailers to ensure that they are prepared for this change, have briefed their staff and communicated the change to their customers to avoid confusion.

The Department for Transport (DfT) have produced a wide range of communications assets here to help forecourt retailers communicate the changes to their customers using the “Know Your Fuel” campaign. The Department for Transport FAQs are here

ACS’ video explaining E10 can be seen below:

On 14th September, ACS is hosting its annual Power, Mobility and Convenience conference which will explore the future of power and mobility and will provide the opportunity for delegates to hear from expert speakers as they discuss the issues currently affecting forecourt retailers and issues they may face in the future. More information about the rollout is available here: https://www.acs.org.uk/advice/e10-fuel-grade-rollout and ACS' Assured Advice on Selling and Storing Fuel, which features information on fuel labelling requirements is available here.
